[Afghanistan] - DAB states World Bank most likely to start work of incomplete projects in Afghanistan

Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) says the World Bank will likely resume the work of its incomplete projects in Afghanistan.DAB officials said talks
are underway with the World Bank so that the work of these projects may kick off as soon as possible.&In this regard as it seems, work of
part of the World Bank&s incomplete projects is going on now,& said Ahmad Jawad Sadad, DAB&s Director General Monetary Policy
Department.Sadad stated it is hoped that the World Bank and other financial institutions that were involved in the Afghan economy will
resume their unfinished projects.Economic experts meanwhile have said when the World Bank projects start, it will have a direct impact on
the country&s economic growth.&The World Bank projects were usually semi-infrastructural projects in Afghanistan and they were being
implemented to provide service, welfare and social infrastructure, and these projects still managed to create good jobs for people in the
villages of the country,& said an economic analyst.In addition, a number of investors also stressed that they are ready to participate in
the implementation of development projects in the country.Da Afghanistan Bank has also asked other international organizations to
