address at a program organized by the District Sports Development Committee in Banepa on Friday, the Chief Minister expressed that sports
and players are a source of national pride.He pledged to simultaneously promote both sectors and vowed to consider an increase in the sports
ministry's budget in the upcoming fiscal year
He stated, 'Our special focus will be on promoting the sports sector within the ministry.'
Additionally, Minister for
Labour, Employment, and Transport, Laxman Lamsal, speaking at the same program, advocated for the establishment of a district-level stadium
and a ward-level sports ground to further promote sports.
