[Afghanistan] - Finland stays happiest nation on the planet for 7th year, Afghanistan at bottom

INSUBCONTINENT EXCLUSIVE:
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) rejects the Gallup Institute&s report that Afghanistan is the unhappiest country in the
world.Zabihullah Mujahid says if the report was based on facts, &the people of Gaza would be the unhappiest,& and not the people of
Afghanistan.Since 2012, Afghanistan has ranked among the most unhappy nations in the world. However, Finland has been the happiest country in
the world for seven consecutive years. But rising unhappiness, especially among young people, has seen other Western countries drop down the
UN-sponsored index, with the United States and Germany dropping out of the top 20 for the first time since the report&s first edition more
than a decade ago.Afghanistan, plagued by a humanitarian catastrophe since the IEA regained control in 2020, remained in last place. The
survey asks people in 143 countries and territories to evaluate their life on a scale from zero to 10, taking into account factors such as
GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity and corruption. Its release coincides with the International Day
of Happiness on March 20.The post Finland remains happiest country in the world for 7th year, Afghanistan at bottom first appeared on Ariana
