[Afghanistan] - Senior Indian diplomat gos to Afghanistan embassy in New Delhi

Singh, who is in charge of the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Iran (PAI) division at the Indian foreign ministry, on Saturday visited Afghanistan&s
embassy in New Delhi for talks.This comes after the embassy was closed temporarily last year.Zakia Wardak, consul general of Afghanistan in
Mumbai, said on X that the sides discussed Afghanistan and India fund, which was productive.&Mr
Singh highlighted India&s longstanding support for Afghanistan and expressed gladness at the Embassy&s operations,& she added.The meeting
came a day after Singh was met by the US Special Representative on Afghanistan Thomas West who also met with Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan
Kwatra.After the meeting, West said that the two sides &exchanged views on development of a unified approach in support of collective
interests&.J.P
Singh visited Kabul on March 7 where he led an Indian delegation at a meeting with Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.The post Senior
