The Meteorology Department says several spells of showers will occur in Eastern and Uva provinces and in Polonnaruwa district.Showers or
thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Central provinces during the afternoon or night.Heavy
showers above 100 mm are likely at some places in Southern province and in Ampara and Monaragala districts, it said.Misty conditions can be
expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in Kalutara, Galle and Matara districts during the morning.General
