In morning trade, the Sensex slipped 151.14 points or 0.40 per cent to trade at 37,343.26 while the Nifty50 lost the crucial level of 11,300
as it dipped 39.50 points or 0.35 per cent to 11,280.05
The top five laggards in the broader Nifty were Vedanta (down 2.49 per cent), Indiabulls Housing Finance (down 2.47 per cent), Hindustan
Petroleum (down 2.26 per cent), Bharat Petroleum (down 1.96 per cent), and Tata Steel (down 1.63 per cent).Investors also eyed the outcome
