remarks while unveiling the full-size statue of martyr Yadavanath Alok in Tilottama Municipality-13 Tikuligadh of Rupandehi district on
Wednesday.President Deuba argued that martyrs do not belong to any specific political party but to the entire nation and its people,
emphasizing that their contributions should be respected by all. Former PM Deuba stressed the importance of political
parties working to honor the dreams of martyrs, expressing his commitment to translating the aspirations of Yadavanath Alok into
action.During the program, CPN (UML) politburo member and former Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Lila Giri, highlighted Yadavanath

The event, chaired by Hemraj Aryal, Chairman of Yadavanath Alok Memorial Study Centre, saw martyr Alok's wife, Sita Laxmi Neupane, urging
the Nepali Congress to materialize Alok's wishes and aspirations.Previously, President Deuba had participated in the New Year greetings and
wishes exchange program organized by the NC Rupandehi Constituency No

Additionally, NC Rupandehi organized a condolence meeting today to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the tragic Surajpura incident, during
which NC leaders Alok and Ram Prasad Chaudhary were murdered.The attack, allegedly launched by anti-democratic forces, targeted NC leaders
including the then general-secretary Girija Prasad Koirala, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Ramchandra Paudel, and Sailaja Acharya.
