The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather alert for extreme heat in parts of the island tomorrow (18).Accordingly, the heat index,
Sabaragamuwa, Eastern, Southern and North-Western provinces and Monaragala District.In its advisory, the department cautioned that heat
cramps and heat exhaustion; continued activity could result in heatstroke.
