Sri Lanka has called upon all celebrations to take concrete actions to de-escalate the circumstance in the Middle East area, the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism said.Issuing a statement in this regard, the Ministry noted that Sri Lanka is seriously
worried about the latest developments in the region.We continue to call upon all celebrations to take concrete steps to de-escalate the
scenario, the statement further added.The Ministry also highlighted that all concerned parties should go back to dialogue and participate in
intensive diplomatic efforts to develop and preserve peace, with a view to making sure stability in the Middle East.This statement was
issued by Sri Lankas Foreign Ministry in the context of the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
