President Xi Jinping said on Friday.Xi made the remarks when meeting Prime Minister of Senegal Ousmane Sonko, who is in China to participate
in the 2025 Summer Davos Forum, in Beijing.The Chinese president noted that he co-chaired the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa
Cooperation in Beijing with President Bassirou Diomaye Faye last September, leading China-Africa relations into a brand-new phase of jointly
building an all-weather China-Africa neighborhood with a shared future for the brand-new era.Xi likewise said that China and Senegal should
firmly support each others independent and self-reliant development courses, enhance party-to-party and governance exchanges, and constantly
combine the foundation of political mutual trust.China and Senegal are partners and excellent brothers on the roadway to advancement and

learning.Both China and Senegal need to securely protect the international system with the United Nations at its core, practice real
multilateralism, uphold worldwide governance featuring comprehensive consultation, joint contributions and shared advantages, and
collectively promote world peace, prosperity, and progress, Xi said.Sonko said China is a reliable partner for Senegal, which the two
nations have constantly appreciated each other, unified in shared support, with stable and resistant bilateral relations and excellent
development in cooperation in different fields.Senegal securely adheres to the one-China principle and eagerly anticipates deepening the
comprehensive strategic collaboration with China, advancing the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, boosting cooperation in
trade, investment, energy and other fields, and contributing to Senegals financial and social development, Sonko said.Both China and Senegal
are members of the Global South with shared values, and Senegal wants to closely cooperate with China on worldwide and local problems,
strongly becoming Chinas tactical partner, promoting international fairness and justice, and securing the typical interests of the Global
