China has sanctioned the former Senate majority leader of the Philippines, Francis Tolentino, a key ally of the Southeast Asian country’s
president, Ferdinand Marcos Jnr, on South China Sea issues.
Beijing accused Tolentino of “egregious conduct on China-related issues” and
