Khan Muttaqi declared Tuesday during a meeting with Bo Mathiasen, Director for Operations at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
According to a declaration from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the 2 sides held detailed discussions on the IEA’& rsquo; s efforts to
prevent the growing, production, and trafficking of narcotics, along with on the treatment and rehabilitation of drug users.Muttaqi
explained the IEA’& rsquo; s “anti-drug project as & ldquo; historical & rdquo; and highlighted that all nationwide institutions and
security forces stay totally devoted to challenging the narcotics trade.“& ldquo; The Islamic Emirate stands strongly versus the drug
phenomenon and will not permit society and the region to be hurt by it again,” & rdquo; he said.He likewise called on the global
neighborhood to support Afghanistan in offering alternative livelihoods for farmers through investment in agriculture, animals, and
small-scale industries, as a long-term solution to drug dependency.Muttaqi even more warned that narcotics going into Afghanistan from
