Vodafone Idea saw a surge in the number of retail shareholders in the June 2025 quarter
According to the latest shareholding data uploaded to the exchanges, the telecom operator added 1.17 lakh new retail investors, pushing the
up to Rs 2 lakh, also increased their collective shareholding volume
They held 543 crore shares as of June 2025, compared to 522 crore shares in March
While the number of shareholders and total shares held by retail investors rose, their percentage shareholding dropped to 5.01% from 7.32%
This suggests a possible increase in overall share capital or larger investors accumulating more stake.
