Cummins India (down 1.31 per cent) were incurring losses in afternoon trade on Friday.
The BSE Auto index was trading 0.32 per cent down at
24,501.49 around 02:25 pm
Shares of Motherson Sumi Systems (down 0.71 per cent), Bharat Forge (down 0.64 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India (down 0.51 per cent) and
Bajaj Auto (down 0.48 per cent) also declined
Shares of Bosch (down 0.39 per cent) and Tata Motors (down 0.14 per cent) were also in the red
However, Apollo Tyres (up 1.41 per cent), TVS Motor Company (up 1.19 per cent), Mahindra Mahindra (up 0.64 per cent), Balkrishna
Industries (up 0.36 per cent) and Eicher Motors (up 0.32 per cent) were trading with gains
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 18.10 points at 11,564.65, while the BSE Sensex was 48.27 points down at 38,288.49
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red
In the Sensex kitty, 14 stocks were advancing and 17 were declining.
Vedanta, Wipro and Axis Bank were among the top gainers in the Sensex
YES Bank, ICICI Bank and Adani Ports were among the top losers in the Sensex index.
