NEW DELHI: Metal mining stocks were trading mixed in Thursday's session
National Aluminium Company (Nalco) (down 6.29 per cent), APL Apollo Tubes (down 2.13 per cent), Hindalco Industries (down 1.94 per cent),
Hindustan Zinc (down 1.47 per cent) and Vedanta (down 1.07 per cent) were among the losers in the Nifty Metal index
The Nifty Metal index was trading 0.35 per cent down at 3,610 around 11:45 pm
Hindustan Copper (down 0.34 per cent), JSW Steel (down 0.19 per cent) and Jindal Steel Power (down 0.07 per cent) too were
declining.
However, MOIL (up 1.83 per cent), Tata Steel (up 1.26 per cent), NMDC (up 1.26 per cent), Jindal Stainless (Hisar) (up 1.04 per
cent) and Coal India (up 0.65 per cent) were up around that time
Shares of Steel Authority of India (SAIL) were trading flat around that time.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 14 points at 11,491, while
the BSE Sensex was up 75.2 points at 38,094
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
