Buzzing stocks: YES Bank, Vakrangee, DHFL, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank

NEW DELHI: YES Bank with over 4.54 crore shares changing hands was leading among the most traded stocks on NSE on Friday. Shares of
Vakrangee (number of shares traded: 1.65 crore), JP Associates (number of shares traded: 0.97 crore), Idea Cellular (number of shares
traded: 0.96 crore), DHFL (number of shares traded: 0.83 crore), Reliance Communications (number of shares traded: 0.66 crore), Jaypee Infra
(number of shares traded: 0.62 crore), Arvind (number of shares traded: 0.54 crore), Infibeam Avenues (number of shares traded: 0.52 crore)
and Adani Power (number of shares traded: 0.47 crore) also featured among the most traded stocks on the NSE. YES Bank (Rs 763.25 crore) was
also leading the pack of most active stocks in value terms. It was followed by Indiabulls Housing Finance (Rs 194.94 crore), DHFL (Rs 175.68
crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs 152.04 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs 145.64 crore), Maruti Suzuki (Rs 119.19 crore), RIL (Rs 112.80 crore), TCS (Rs
104.69 crore), SBI (Rs 97.58 crore) and Future Retail (Rs 96.68 crore). The NSE Nifty index was trading 38.5 points up at 10,897.2, while
BSE Sensex was up 139.76 points at 36,310.17 around 09:58 am on Friday. In the Nifty index, YES Bank (up 6.08 per cent), Mahindra Mahindra
(up 2.53 per cent), Wipro (up 2.51 per cent), Zee Entertainment Enterprises (up 2.41 per cent) and GAIL (India) (up 2.00 per cent) were
among the top gainers
Tata Motors (down 2.40 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 2.05 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation (down 1.52 per cent), Vedanta (down 1.38 per
cent) and Adani Ports Special Economic Zone (down 1.31 per cent) were among the top losers in the Nifty pack of stocks.
