NEW DELHI: Twitter's services were down temporarily for thousands on Monday, with users reporting issues with accessing links from the Elon Musk-headed social media platform to other websites.In a tweet, Twitter had said that some parts of the microblogging website may not be working as expected right now.It said that it has made an internal change that had some unintended consequences, adding that it was working on the issue.Twitter engineers and experts have been warning that the platform is at an increased risk of fraying since billionaire Elon Musk fired most of the people who worked on keeping it running.

Just last month, a bug left users unable to send tweets.While they don’t anticipate near-term collapse, the engineers said Twitter could get very rough at the edges — especially if Musk makes major changes without much off-platform testing.
