After a gap of 22 years the hit trio of Anil Sharma, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel reunited to recreate the magic of 'Gadar- Ek Prem Katha' with a promising sequel.

However, the film soon courted controversy after Ameeshaalleged a lot of mismanagement on part of Anil Sharmas production house during the shooting of the last schedule of the film in Chandigarh.This led to many believing that there is animosity between the actress and the director.Speaking about his equation with the leading lady Ameesha Patel, director Anil Sharma cleared the air and said, We share a bond for over 22 years now and will continue to exist.
