Kozhikode: A 44-year-old school teacher was apprehended by the police on Thursday in connection with a disturbing incident that occurred during a bus journey in the Thamarassery police station limits.
The accused, identified as Shanavas, allegedly exposed himself to a minor girl.
The arrest was made following a complaint lodged by the girl.
Shanavas is now facing charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.He is set to appear before the court later today.
