Bareilly: A 35-year-old woman was reportedly set on fire by her husband in Gotiya village, leading to her tragic death.
The incident occurred after the husband caught her in a compromising situation with another man, according to the police.
The charred body of the victim, identified as Anjali, was discovered in a field near the village late on Saturday night.The Shahi Police Station, which has jurisdiction over the area, promptly arrested the accused, Nepal Singh, on charges of murder.
Anjali's family had accused him of deliberately burning her alive.
