TEHRAN- More than 225,000 units of the National Housing Movement are under building and construction in rural areas, Majid Joudi, the deputy head of the Housing Foundation of Islamic Revolution, announced.
National Housing Movement to construct four million real estate systems in four years is among the significant plans of the current federal government in the housing sector.According to the plan, out of these 4 million domestic units, 3.2 million units will be constructed in cities and 800,000 units in towns, some of these systems are presently being constructed after offering lands and preparing the required conditions.After National Housing Action Plan (begun in 2018), National Housing Movement is the federal governments second significant program to provide affordable real estate units for the low-income classes.The operation for the construction of 209,212 domestic systems of the National Housing Movement started in early February.The ceremony to begin the mentioned operation and likewise to release some development tasks in the real estate sector was participated in by former Transport and Urban Development Minister Rostam Qasemi.Also, in late July, the minister inaugurated a project for the building of the first group of economical housing units for laborers under the structure of the National Housing Movement.MA/ MA
