Kathmandu, August 21

China is willing to send its students to Nepal to study yoga, naturopathy, ayurveda and herbal studies.

Liu Xiao Thing, a professor of Beijing Normal University and Chairman of China Dialectical Association, in a meeting today with Minister of Education, Science and Technology Giriraj Mani Pokharel, expressed Chinainterest in sending its students to study yoga and naturopathy in Nepal, said Sunil Khadka press co-ordinator at the ministry. It aims to send 1,000 students annually to Nepal for studies.

Nepal is a suitable country to study yoga and naturopathy and we are also interested in contributing for promotion of yoga and naturopathy, Thing was quoted as saying in a press release issued by the ministry.

Minister Pokharel said initiative will be taken to implement the course as soon as possible.

&We will try to impart quality education on yoga and naturopathy,& Minister Pokharel said.
