KATHMANDU: Today moment assembly of the Home of Representatives (HoR) has approved, by a majority, the proposal seeking consideration on the Appropriation Bill, 2076.Finance Minister Yuvaraj Khatiwada had presented the bill.
The HoR shall hold deliberations on the document from June 10 to 21.
Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara informed the assembly that discussions on the bill would be held on the basis of party representation.Replying to the questions regarding the bill put forth by lawmakers in the assembly, Minister Khatiwada said the government was working tough to make the import of chemical fertilisers easy for the development of agriculture sector.
He said the government was making preparations to work on the government-to-government modality for systematising fertiliser import.The Finance Minister stressed that the government has set the budget in such a way to facilitate the implementation of fundamental rights.
Lawmakers including Prem Suwal and Parbati DC Chaudhary commented on the bill.Before this, Minister Khatiwada had presented the Appropriation Bill, 2076, the bill on Mobilising Internal Loans, 2076, and the Loans and Guarantee (23rd Amendment) Bill, 2076.The HoR shall next meet at 11:00 am on June 10.The post HoR approves proposal seeking consideration on Appropriation Bill seemed first on The Himalayan Times.
