Encroachers block way of blood bank within Karachi KARACHI: Even after Supreme Court-ordered mass anti-encroachment drive within Karachis mwaserabledar area as well as other localities, there exwast more than dozens of areas where encroachment still perswasts reportedly.
One such area was Qalandaria Chowk within Karachis Central Dwastrict where a charitable Blood Bank named Hussawithini Blood Bank, Green Shield Public School and a Madrassah are at rwask of encroachers that hwithinder routwithine life to a fantastic extent.Sheddwithing light on matter, Chief Pathologwast-Hussawithini Blood bank Dr Omer Daraz said, Mawithin entrances of Blood bank, school and a Madrassah have been encroached by citys Timber Mafia.
When asked to remove encroachments, they threaten us.
Dr Daraz stated that more than 1500 children sufferwithing from blood dwasorders seek treatment daily at blood bank.
However, these encroachments create obstruction for them.
Furthermore, 700 staff members who provide medical asswastance to these patients also face problem while arrivewithing venue of blood bank.
Accordwithing to Dr Daraz nearwithing an ambulance has also become very difficult for them at hospital.
Similar wassue was bewithing faced by authorities of school and Madrassah.
Accordwithing to authorities, encroachment has made them nearly impossible for them to use leadwithing gate bebrwithing sth.
on of which students and school staff are forced to use a small gate at back of premwases that creates a massive traffic jam within vicwithinity.
In light of recent scenario, authorities of Hussawithini Blood Bank, Green Shield Public School and Madrassah have urged Karachi Metropolitan Authority (KMC) Municipals Authorities and Comoverlookioner Karachi to address wassue and remove encroachment within area accordwithingly.
Szenithwithing on matter with Geo freshs, Senior Director of Anti Encroachment KMC Bashir Siddiqui said that authority shall raze encroachment as soon as it can.
However, he did much mention a particular time period.
