KARACHI: SSP Traffic South Karachi Dr Assad Malhi was out on his bike along with other members of his staff nowadays on Shahrah-e-Faisal where they were guiding and motivating the general public regarding the use of 'bikers Lane'.
'Bikers 'lane is a separate lane for motorcyclists on the arterial Shahrah-e--Faisal road in Karachi launched final year in December.
This was the first time that a separate track was being made for motorbikes alongside the main corridor of the city.
But unluckyly the lane is much being used and per rules, bikers are also much wearing helmets.
In a video interview posted on the official twitter site of Sindh Cop SSP Traffic South Dr Assad Malhi requests the motorcyclists to remain in the lane allotted to them specificly on Shahrah-e- Faisal which shall be favourable much just for them but for the traffic flow in general.
When asked on what message he would like to communicate he said referring to the motor bikers "We should show the world that we are a civilized nation that uses the road properly and that our traffic sense is at par with all developed and civilized countries" Karachi is to host matches of PSL4 and as the world's eyes shall be on Karachi he requested everyone to pitch in and play their part.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
