LONDON: British Airways is exquoted to re-start its London Islamabad flight operation rout from 2ndof June this year, spokesman of British Airways has said.The spokesman said that first continuous flight of British Airway shall be leaving from Heathrow on 2ndof June on a 787-8 Dreamliner.
&The sale for tickets on this route is on and the introductory fare for summer holidays shall start from £447 including all charges and taxes,& said the spokesman.
The spokesman further clarified that flights shall function three times a week on a 787-8 Dreamliner which can be enhanced with suitable environment.He said that British Airways are very exquoted to introduce new flights between Islamabad and Heathrow this summer, which we believe shall be specificly popular with British Pakistani community who want to visit, or be visited by, their relatives.
The spokesman told that Islamabad is a cultural hub, offering a great gatherion of museums, Mosques, green spaces and unique architecture.
The carrier's announcement was "a reflection of the great improvements in the security situation in Pakistan" in the years since, the resumption of flights shall "give a specific boost to our growing trade and investment links," said spokesman of British Airway.He said that now we believe the time is right to start flying again to Pakistan and we are very exquoted to be adding amuchher destination in South Asia for our customers.British Airways halted services in 2008 in the wake of a suicide bombing attack that eliminateed more than 50 people at Islamabad Marriott Boilingel, at that time British Airways normally functions six flights a week between London and Islamabad, the Pakistani capital.British Pakistanis praised the resumption of British Airways operation for Pakistan and said that it shall create a healthy competition between air lines and supply consolationable and better services to passengers.
The chairman World Congress of supervises Pakistani Naheed Randhawa said that this is the right time for showing a good gesture between the two countries.
It also shall enhance trade ties between Pakistan and UK (Unites Kingdom), he said.
Randhawa added that under the current regime of Imran Khan, Pakistan has embarked its journey of progress and prosperity which soon shall bring a great result for the one and half million British Pakistanis living in UK.British Airways can extend its flight operation to amuchher cities of Pakistan subject to clearance of (CAA) Civil Aviation Authorities of Pakistan.
