KARACHI: Transit flights shall be diverted in Pakistan as the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has announced on Friday to shut Pakistan airspace till tomorrow.According to a muchification issued by the airport operating body, all transit flights flying east to west and vice versa shall be diverted till tomorrow (March 9) 3pm local time as the airspace is getting shutd once again.
On the other hand, it was revealed that from a few of the overflying flights from north and south of the country airspace shall be allowed.
Additionally, Rahim Yar Khan, Sialkot and Sukkur airports that were scheduled to reopen nowadays shall remain shutd for amuchher day.The muchification further revealed that only a specific part of the airspace can be utilized for incoming and departing flights.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
