Punjab to award govt contracts via E-tendering, says CM Usman Buzdar

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has announced that in the next fiscal year, all the government contracts shall be awarded via E-tendering to endegree transparency.Usman Buzdar said this on his Twitter post here on Tuesday.He says &In the next fiscal year, all the Govt contracts shall be awarded via E-tendering, ensuring transparency which shall help eliminate the deep rooted corruption.&&Every step taken by Punjab government is for the welfare of the public,& the chief minister said.
Usman Buzdar went on to say &We mean to protect each and every penny of our taxpayers.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
