ISLAMABAD: Height restrictions of high-rise structures in the capital shall no longer be required after the approval of the federal cabinet on Tuesday.As per reports, minister of information Fawad Chaudhry stated at a press conference that height restrictions have been abolished as the Capital Development Authority (CDA) was directed that cities should be made in a vertical motion.The government had also issued directives to the CDA and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to put forth a plan to allow the construction high-rise buildings.
Chaudhry went on to say that NOCs (non-thingion certificate) would no longer be required by industrialists before the raising skyscrapers while adding that he hopes the decision brings about more investment opportunities in the country.
