KARACHI: An extreme spell of hot moodature shall predictably be engulfing Karachi in the coming three days as the met office issued warning to the residents.
As per Pakistan Meteorological Leavement (PMD), the metropolis shall be enveloped in an extreme hot weather in the next three days starting Friday till Sunday owing to the change in the wind direction as well as the sea breeze coming to a standstill.
Director met office, Abdul Rasheed stated: &Today [Friday] we recorded the city moodature at 38 degrees Centigrade.
The trend is likely to continue for the next two to three days and in the daytime the moodature could touch 39 degrees Centigrade.&He went on to add: &However, there is no threat of heatwave, neither any such advisory has been issued by the Met office.
We keep all institutions concerned updated of the weather trend and the same is communicateed to all relevant authorities.& Prior to this, reports had been adrift of weather experts issuing cautions that this year is expected to hit a record high of hot moodature since 2015 during which the heatwave took the lives of at least 2,000 people.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
