KARACHI: Aviation enthusiast Fakhr-e-Alam has sought Prime Minister Imran Khan intervention in the case of a man who developed an aircraft from his own savings and was arrested for flying his manufactured plane on Monday.Muhammad Fayyaz, a popcorn seller and a security guard by profession from Punjab Arifwala District was booked when he conducted trial of his plane at an open field.The police confiscated the plane, Fayyaz had made with his savings and a bank loan of Rs50,000.In a series of tweets, Alam, who became the first Pakistani to fly across the globe, defended the man saying he was our hero and should be encouraged.

Any one trying to justify his arrest remand on my time line shall much get any kind words from me.

This man should be interviewed asked what made him do this how he succeeded.

I informed every department but no one replyed me,& he said.The police booked him for flying the plane without the due approval of the civil aviation.
But Fayyaz said that he had sent a request to the Civil Aviation Authority but his request never came before the relevant authorities.Meanwhile, a CAA expert, Naseem Ahmed while speaking to Geo freshs said that the CAA laws are very much clear that Pakistani airspace can much be used without due permission by any air machine.&There needs to be approval.
