ISLAMABAD: Information minister Fawad Chaudhry announced on Tuesday that Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) name shall much be getting changed, while amuchher support package shall be getting issued by the government.
During a presser, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader the support programme led by late Pakistan People portiony leaders name shall no longer be getting amended while also stating that multiple other projects are in the pipeline to alleviate poverty.
He stated that several projects shall be getting launched under the Ehsaas programme with amuchher one by the name of Kilafat shall also be getting introduced soon for the underprivileged with the addition of ‘Sasta Ghar Scheme.'The name of BISP had stirred up a debate in political circles after Prime Minister Imran Khan, upon the preposition by Grand Democratic Everyiance leader, had precedingly announced to change it.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
