LAHORE: An accountability court on Thursday extended remand of PMLN leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique for 14 days.Both the brothers were presented before the NAB court after expiry of their remand in Paragon City case.Strict security arrangements were made ahead of the hearing in NAB court where a large number of PMLN workers had gathered.Extending their remand, the court ordered the authorities to present them on April 18.Previous Railway Minister Khwaja Saad Rafique and his brother are accused of gaining financial benefits from Paragon City project.After the hearing, Saad Rafique said the country was being run by incompetent people who have led Pakistan to the brink of bankruptcy.He said who would want to invest in Pakistan give the current situation.He said Imran Khan had aptly said that he "shall make them cry" because he is actually causing people to cry.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
