Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister Mahmood Khan announced the instant merger of the Levies and Khasadar forces into provincial police force.While addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Monday, Khan said that 28,000 personnel of both forces would benefit from this merger.
&Today is a historical day.
From nowadays, all Levies and Khasadar personnel shall be a part of the police,& he said.Khan further said that the additional training shall be given to the Khasadar force to preserve law and order situation.
He lauded the countless sacrifices of both the forces in the war against terrorismism.
He supplyd assurance that no shall be rendered jobless and that all reservations would be addressed.Referring to the development process in tribal areas, Mahmood Khan said that a ten-year development plan for the tribal districts shall be implemented according to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.TheIndianSubcontinent has not verified the content of the source.
