Nawaz decides to return to lead PML-N election campaignLONDON: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz have reportedly decided to return to Pakistan to lead the PML-N's election campaign.According to Geo News, the decision was taken after the consultations with partys senior leadership wanted PML-N Quaid to head the election campaign in Pakistan.
Nawaz Sharif, who is in London to look after her ailing wife Begum Kulsoom, is expected to return Pakistan within a week, while Maryam Nawaz is likely to come before him.
In regard with election campaign, PML-N supremo has directed the leaders to start preparation of rallies in multiple cities.
Meanwhile, a detailed medical check-up and a computed tomography (CT) scan of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz will be carried out before his return to homeland.Begum Kalsoom Nawaz has been on ventilator at the ICU of Harley Street Clinic since June 4 .
The doctors have yet not decided to take her off the life support machine due to her unstable condition.Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz, who went to London last month to spend Eid days with Beganm Kulsoom, extended their stay due to her deteriorated condition.Although, PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif has started campaign from Karachi but the party has yet to organize a major rally in Punjab, which is PML-N's heartland.
