The Ministry of National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development and Youth Affairs has allocated Rs.2150 million to develop North, Ministry Secretary V.
Sivagnanasothy said yesterday.
He said the ministry took step to construct 1,525 houses for the war displaced and refugee returnees, as part of the development work the ministry carried out under National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development and Youth Affairs Minister and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.
