Police Headquarters has ordered the Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to launch an inquiry into Inspector of Police (IP) Nishantha Silva departure overseas.The IP had left the country without obtaining approval of the Police Department, stated the Police Media Spokesperson.
