NEW DELHI: Bank shares were trading mixed with the Nifty Bank index up 0.06 per cent at 27,142.40 around 11:59 am on Monday.
Shares of RBL Bank (up 0.65 per cent), IndusInd Bank (up 0.61 per cent), Federal Bank (up 0.59 per cent) and State Bank of India (up 0.54 per cent) were trading higher.
Kotak Mahindra Bank (down 0.33 per cent), Punjab National Bank (down 0.25 per cent), Axis Bank (down 0.24 per cent) and YES Bank (down 0.14 per cent) were the worst performers in the index.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 5.70 points at 10,865.60 while the BSE Sensex was up 2.44 points at 36,079.16.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
Shares of SAIL, YES Bank, BEL, Ashok Leyland, SBI, Bank of Baroda, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, BHEL, Vedanta, Vodafone Idea and JSW Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
