NEW DELHI: Gains in shares of Oberoi Realty (up 2.84 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 1.58 per cent), DLF (up 1.19 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.60 per cent) were keeping Nifty Realty index in Friday's session.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.66 per cent up at 236 around 02:50 pm.
However, shares of Sobha (down 3.26 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 1.64 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (down 0.40 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.34 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.14 per cent) were in negative territory at that time.The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 39 points at 10,711, while BSE Sensex was up 150 points at 35,663.
Among 50 stocks in Nifty index, 33 were trading in green, while 16 were in red.
Bharti Infratel, YES Bank, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors and State Bank of India were among top gainers in Nifty index.
On flip side, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys and IndusInd Bank were among top losers in Nifty index.
