NEW DELHI: PSU Bank shares were trading in green with Nifty PSU Bank index up 0.56 per cent at 3126.55 around 10:08 am on Tuesday.
Shares of Syndicate Bank (up 1.51 per cent), Union Bank of India (up 1.32 per cent), Bank of India (up 1.08 per cent) and Indian Bank (up 0.99 per cent) were top performers in index.
Canara Bank (up 0.92 per cent), Oriental Bank of Commerce (up 0.87 per cent) and Central Bank of India (up 0.71 per cent) too were trading in green.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 20.15 points at 10,791.95 while BSE Sensex was up 87.99 points at 35,938.15.
Among 50 stocks in Nifty index, 34 were trading in green, while 16 were in red.
Shares of YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Bandhan Bank, Bank of Baroda, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Sun Pharma, Hindalco Industries, ICICI Bank, SAIL, SBI and Bharti Infratel were among most traded shares on NSE.
