NEW DELHI: IT shares were trading lower with Nifty IT index down 0.15 per cent at 14,270.45 around 10:20 am on Tuesday.
Shares of MindTree (down 1.56 per cent), NIIT Technologies (down 0.69 per cent), HCL Technologies (down 0.46 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services (down 0.42 per cent) were top losers in index.Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.37 per cent), Tata Elxsi (down 0.20 per cent) and Wipro (down 0.15 per cent) too were trading lower.Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 22.65 points at 10,794.45 while BSE Sensex was up 98.44 points at 35,948.60.
Among 50 stocks in Nifty index, 33 were trading in green, while 17 were in red.
Shares of Ashok Leyland, YES Bank, Tata Motors, Bandhan Bank , Bank of Baroda, ICICI Bank, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Hindalco Industries, Sun Pharma and SBI were among most traded shares on NSE.
