NEW DELHI: Infosys will consider issuing buyback and paying out special dividend in its board meeting on January 11, IT behemoth said on Tuesday.Media reports in December has said that Infosys may go for a share buyback of up to $1.6 billion at its January board meet.The company will also announce its October-December quarter earnings on Friday.The outlook on companys BFSI, retail and performance of digital vertical are also among key things to be watched for as after poor growth in BFSI in first quarter, vertical took off in second quarter and management indicated greenshoots in segment.Brokerages are not expecting any upbeat show from Infosys, highlighting concerns over appreciating rupee and company's focus on growth against profitability.Shares of company closed 0.19 per cent down at Rs 669.85 on Tuesday, while NSE Nifty index settled 0.36 per cent up at 35,980.93.
