NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 230.69 points up at 36,211.62 on Wednesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.Shares of Syncom Formulations (up 16 per cent), Chothani Foods (up 15.87 per cent), HT Media (up 15.80 per cent), Sandesh (up 14.53 per cent), Shri Keshav Cements (up 13.53 per cent), Advani Hotels (up 12.24 per cent), R Systems International (up 11.82 per cent), Ansal Housing (up 11.80 per cent), DQ Entertainmnt (up 10.43 per cent) and Sanmit Infra (up 9.98 per cent) were among top performers.
Kridhan Infra (up 6.98 per cent), Jagran Prakashan (up 6.30 per cent) and Religare Enterprises (up 5.94 per cent), too were trading around 5-7 per cent higher at around same time.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 61.65 points up at 10,863.80.
Among 50 components in Nifty index, 31 shares were trading in green, while 19 were in red.
