NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 194.12 points down at 35,831.42 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Resonance Specialities (up 14.43 per cent), Bhagyanagar Properties (up 13.68 per cent), Vegetable Products (up 13.15 per cent), Arihant Institute (up 13.10 per cent), ABC India (up 10.91 per cent), Almondz Global (up 9.81 per cent), K P Energy (up 9.26 per cent), Frontline Securities (up 9.04 per cent), Zee Entertainment (up 8.56 per cent) and Essel Propack (up 8.05 per cent) were among the top performers.
International Conveyors (5.66 per cent) and Sundaram-Clayton (up 5.44 per cent) too were trading 5-6 per cent higher at around the same time.The Nifty 50 index was trading 63.70 points down at 10,716.85.
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 13 shares were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red.
