NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 288.57 points up at 38,312.89 on Monday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.Shares of Pro Fin Capital Services (down 19.99 per cent), Kamadgiri Fashion (down 16.13 per cent), Rathi Bars (down 10.49 per cent), Hindusthan Urban Infrastructure (down 10.22 per cent), Vikram Thermo (down 10 per cent), D H India (down 9.43 per cent), Choksi Imaging (down 9.23 per cent), Wallfort Financial Services (down 9.02 per cent), Chemcrux Enterprises (down 8.73 per cent), Steel Exchange (down 7.77 per cent), PTL Enterprises (down 6.58 per cent) and Sterlite Technologies (down 5.62 per cent) were among the worst performers.In the Nifty pack, 37 stocks were trading in the green, while 13 stocks were in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 86.50 points up at 11,513.35.
