NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 36.48 points up at 38,399.95 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.Shares of NPR Finance (down 12.02 per cent), Jeevan Scientific Technology (down 10.18 per cent), Pro Fin Capital Services (down 9.99 per cent), Stellar Capital Services (down 9.88 per cent), Vegetable Products (down 9.85 per cent), Palm Jewels (down 9.84 per cent), Sadhna Broadcast (down 9.40 per cent), Swadeshi Industries (down 9.40 per cent), Solitaire Machine Tools (down 9.12 per cent), Keltech Energies (down 8.93 per cent) and Jubilant Life Sciences (down 5.66 per cent) were among the worst performers.In the Nifty pack, 19 stocks were trading in the green, while 31 stocks were in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 1.40 points down at 11,531.
