NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with gains in Thursday's morning session.Shares of DLF (up 2.97 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 2.84 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.23 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.07 per cent) were trading in the green.
Oberoi Realty (up 1.65 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 0.98 per cent), Sobha (up 0.29 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (up 0.26 per cent) too were trading higher.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.79 per cent up at 267.55 around 10:16 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 59.85 points at 11,504.90 while the BSE Sensex was up 191.46 points at 38,324.34.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, LT Fin Holding, Ashok Leyland, SBI, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, NTPC, Tata Motors, DLF and Indian Oil Corp were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
