NEW DELHI: Around 12 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's session.Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were AstraZeneca Pharma, Bajaj Finserv, Balaxi Ventures and Bil Energy Systems.ICICI Lombard General Insurance, Mstc, OCL Iron and Steel, Rail Vikas Nigam and Zodiac Clothing Company also featured among the stocks that touched their 52week highs on NSE.Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 10.60 points up at 11,607.30 while the BSE Sensex was trading 53.05 points up at 38,660.06.
Overall, 25 shares were trading in the green while 24 were trading in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, GAIL, Cipla, Asian Paints, Adani Ports SEZ and UltraTech Cement were among the top gainers.While UPL, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Hindalco Inds., Larsen Toubro and Bharti Airtel were trading in the red.
