NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 517.02 points up at 39,627.23 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of TIL (up 20 per cent), Rasandik Engineering (up 18.92 per cent), Skipper (up 17.78 per cent), DCM (up 17.39 per cent), Advance Syntex (up 17.17 per cent), ASI Industries (up 15.81 per cent), Aayush Food Herbs (up 15.24 per cent), Competent Auto (up 14.48 per cent), Vertex Securities (up 13.64 per cent) and Premier Polyplast (up 13.41 per cent), Bank of Baroda (up 9.03 per cent) and Adani Enterprises (up 7.63 per cent) were among the top performers.The Nifty 50 index was trading 149.70 points up at 11,887.60.
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 43 shares were trading in the green, while 7 were in the red.
