NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading in the negative zone in Wednesday's morning session.Shares of Godrej Properties (down 1.80 per cent), DLF (down 1.56 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (down 1.49 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 1.48 per cent) were the top losers in the index.Sobha (down 0.84 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 0.35 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.26 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (down 0.26 per cent) too were trading with losses.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.99 per cent down at 283.70 around 10:24 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 27.60 points at 11,901.15 while the BSE Sensex was down 99.45 points at 39,650.28.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, PNB, YES Bank, Sun Pharma, PC Jeweller, NMDC, DHFL, Rail Vikas Nigam, SBI and Adani Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
